Hi Everyone,

Hopefully you have received this notice by now.  If not there are spare copies in Room 10.  We start swimming on Wednesday 1 March.  Please let us know if you are available to walk with us to the pool.

Art Gallery

Wow!!! What a fabulous visit to the Art Gallery we had.  We enjoyed touring around the gallery looking at amazing art work, meeting all John's furry native bird friends, singing with John, watching a movie, playing a survival game AND producing some outstanding art.  What a lot to pack in to two hours!!  Thank you to all the parents who came with us and helped out.  Have a look in our classroom for our finished pieces.

Road Safety with Constable Sommerfield

We have had several visits from Constable Sommerfield where we are learning about Road Safety.  Yesterday we talked about the importance of being safe in a car - wearing seatbelts and using booster seats.  Today we went out for a walk around George Street Normal School looking at how to use the crossing safely, checking sneaky driveways, and being aware of our surroundings.
